Purely focused in our very own sports hall, fun and games with a non choreographed, high energy workout to music, with different varities of exercises and activities.

Active Abs Blast

An easy to follow class which is designed to strengthen and tone the major postural muscles of the abdominals and lower back.

Active Aqua

A cardio based exercise class, which allows the water to support and assist a full body workout.

Active Aquatic Cycling

Try the latest aqua revolution - Active Aqua Cycle. Just like Active Cycle but in the water! All levels of fitness catered for, key benefits include overall fitness, wellness and could aid weight loss.

Active Balance

Active Balance is a dynamic Yoga-based stretching programme that leaves you feeling relaxed and renewed. It combines the fundamental principles and practices of Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi such as controlled breathing, concentration, flexibility and strength training to create a holistic workout that brings the body, mind and soul into a state of balance and harmony.

Active Body Ball

A 30 minute class using fit balls to work core muscles.

Active Body Conditioning

A class packed full of energy that's sure to give your body a total workout.

Simple aerobic combinations and toning exercises for the whole body will ensure those calories don't stand a chance.

Active Body Tone

Aerobic start to burn a few calories whilst warming up all your legs and core, adding conditioning to the whole upper body. Body Tone is using our Kettlebells, fitballs and barbells.

Active Box and Burn

Combines boxing and circuits for a fun, stress busting workout to suit everyone.

The class combines use of both the aerobic and anaerobic energy systems and will improve hand-eye co-ordination, balance and timing.

Active Chi Ball

Active Circuits

Workouts change every time as the instructor leads you through a different programme of exercise with equipment every week.

Active Combat

This is an empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic programme is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as Karate, Boxing, Taekwondo, Tai Chi and Muay Thai.

A 45 minute express workout designed to target the core muscles.

Active Fitsteps

Strictly fans! It's easy to learn and fun to dance with a combination of the best-known and most popular Latin and ballroom dances, taught in a line-dance style so no partners required.

Active Heart Fit

A session to look after your heart, aimed at people who may have had cardiac problems. Usually fitness suite instructor referral.

Active HIITs

High intensity interval training designed to make you sweat and burn large amounts of calories in a short space on time. This can be gym based or in any of our state of the art studios.

Active Hula

Trim your tummy, hips and thighs with this high energy cardio workout to music fitness session with the hula hoop.

Active Insanity

Forget everything you think you know about high-intensity workouts because Active Insanity turns old-school interval training on its head.

In Active Insanity you work flat out in three to five minute blocks and take breaks only long enough to gulp some air and get right back to work.

It's called Max Interval Training because it keeps your body working at maximum capacity through your entire workout.

Active Kettle

Kettlebells are very effective at toning the body, particularly the legs, bum, hips and stomach. You will see a noticeable improvement in your body shape and tone as well as your fitness levels within a few sessions.

Active Six O Fit

A health and fitness programme for the 60 plus community in Newark and Sherwood. Available to any person over the age of 60 years.

Active Step

Up-tempo, aerobic exercise based around step boxes. The result is greater activation of areas such as legs and bum with extra challenges on co-ordination and fitness.

Active Suspension Training
