M‌anaging Director

Andy is the Managing Director of Active4Today. He has worked for the council for many years, managing the leisure centres and wider leisure service offer, including sports development. Andy drives the business forward and ensures that our business plans are achieved. He is continually striving to enhance our service offer. Andy has completed a Masters in Business Administration and a Masters in Public Administration.

Alexis Knock

‌Director of Business and Finance

Alexis has worked in the leisure industry for a number of years, specifically sports and active lifestyle development. Within the business she is responsible for performance, safeguarding children and health and wellbeing and supporting the army of volunteers delivering sport in the district. Alexis has completed a Diploma in Management Studies along with many industry awards and qualifications.

Martin Picker

D‌irector of Development and Operations

Martin joined Newark and Sherwood many years ago and worked previously in the private sector. He is responsible for financial and systems management and business development. He holds a Diploma in Facility Management and Leadership and has been instrumental in the rapid growth in adult and children’s membership schemes in recent years.
