Pool Lifeguard Course

Monday 4th August, 8am - 4pm
Tuesday 5th August, 8am - 4pm
Wednesday 6th August, 8am - 4pm
Friday 8th August, 8am - 4pm
Tuesday 12th August (exam), 5pm - 9pm

Venue: Newark Sports and Fitness Centre

Course cost: £250 (£150 for VISPA Students) Payment must be made it full at the time of booking.

• Candidates must be able to attend all dates
• Be at least 16 years of age
• Be able to jump into deep water
• Be able to swim 50 metres in under 1 minute
• Be able to swim 100 metres on the front and 100 metres on the back without stopping
• Be able to tread water for 30 seconds in deep water
• Be able to surface dive and recover an object from the deepest part of the pool
• Be able to climb out of the pool unaided without the use of steps or ladders

• Thursday 24^th July: 4pm-8pm - Southwell Leisure Centre
• Saturday 26^th July: 8.30am-5.30pm - Southwell Leisure Centre

Course Cost: £290 + £60 for Rescue Test Award (Date TBC)
